hi, i have a situation. I was injured at work last october, cut my thumb on a wine glass, and my employer did not have Workers comp insurance at the time of my accident. I was being mailed a lot of documentation that i didnt understand and my employer basically "Took care" of the matter for me. I wasnt aware that there was a case and i didnt know what was going on. i simply just followed what my employer said and that was to do nothing and it would all be settled. IS there a way that I can sue the employer even after the case has closed because now my thum has no feeling and has been numb ever since the accident. Now I dont know what to do with my thumb but just leave it the way it was. My employer had an open restaurant business for over 7 years and just got insured after my accident. is there something i can do aout it even after my case is already closed?

Hello Anonymous:
An employer in Nevada is required to carry workers' compensation insurance. Please contact my office to schedule a free consultation.
